From 43 user ratings, Intent is a rocking a 5 star (out of 5) average. That’s not bad. Not bad at all. The theme is for blogs, magazines, portfolios and businesses. Yup, it’s pretty versatile.
The front page offers scope for a ton of customisation straight out of the box. The demo provides 6 different examples of how you can lay things out. Personally, I strongly like the full width responsive slider. Try re-sizing your browser to see the slider image scale beautifully.
The portfolio page (which could also be used as a product or gallery page) is a real work of skill. I know I already asked you to test the responsive layout on the front page by re-sizing your browser with that page open, but you must also re-size with the portfolio page open. Click ‘Work’ on the navigation bar. You’ll notice, as you re-size, that the portfolio automatically lays itself out in several different ways depending on the size of the browser window: as 4 columns, as 3 or as 1. And not just that: the images can be different sizes or each layout. So for the 1 column layout the images can be either bigger or smaller.
Another thing I love about the portfolio gallery is you don’t have to re-load the page to filter things by category. You can simply click action, motion, nature, etc, and only posts from that specific category will show.
The blog features are little short of awesome. There are 10 blog post formats, including: video, audio, gallery, quotes, status updates, and more. Here’s a screenshot of the gallery format.
No shortage of shortcodes here: buttons, columns, Google maps, pricing tables, etc.
